On Monday 18th June, Business Peak District elected a new Chair of the Board, Robin Eyre. Robin runs Trailblazer360 Marketing, an online marketing agency based in Cromford, Matlock, and replaces Jim Harrison, Managing Director of Thornbridge Brewery.

“It’s a real privilege to have been elected as Chair,” says Robin. “Having grown up in Chesterfield and Matlock it’s great to be able to have an input back into the community.

“The Peak District has a real industrial heritage and we have much to celebrate, and located in the heart of the UK with its natural beauty and access to surrounding major cities the Peak District is a great place to live and work.

“Business Peak District acts as a voice for businesses in the Peak District and represents a wide range of sectors. I am very much looking forward to working closely with official tourist board Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire and local authority partners to promote the use of the Inspired by the Peak District project marketing materials and encourage local businesses to attend workshops and networking events throughout the year – all of which are free to Business Peak District members. We welcome all businesses with an interest in the Peak District to come and join us.”

Robin replaces Jim Harrison, Managing Director of Thornbridge Brewery. We thank Jim for all the hard work and effort he’s put in throughout his tenure.
